Massachusetts Academy of Ballet is a training school for students interested in pursuing a career in classical ballet. The classes are based on the Russian syllabus, a training method that has created some of the best ballet dancers in the world.
The Academy also has a program for non-professional students who value the best quality ballet training and artistic education. Through discipline and a positive approach to the challenges inherent in classical dance, students studying classical ballet will develop the skills needed to excel in their academics as well as their artistic programs. Every student who attends the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet, from child to adult, will receive the same high quality training.

Who are we?
We are creative people with studios at Open Square in downtown Holyoke. We are a diverse group: painting, illustration, sculpture, pottery, photography, fashion design, web and graphic design; plus a theater company, and ballet studio. We believe in the future of downtown Holyoke and are excited to be part of the re-birth of this wonderful historic city.
